Super rare Dortmund 1996/97 special UCL away shirt, designed and intended to be used in the competition however as there was no other team in yellow a change strip wasn't needed. Some intel from the Dortmund kitman of the time dictates that none were ever printed up or match prepared for this reason. There were commercial replicas available with applied sponsors and stitched club crest, being as this is a player version there is room left on the shirt for sponsors and match detailing. A couple of other player spec features are lack of replica tag and felt BVB crest.
